A bolt snap is used mostly for things like bag leads, or dog leashes. It has a button that opens the link to place anything through it, and holds them in tightly. The bottom of the bolt snap is the rotating part so the loop that the webbing goes through can move around.

The Trigger Snap is also good for bags. It opens like a crabs claw and than it closes and locks. It is easy to disconnect the trigger snap with one hand. The bottom of the trigger snap rotates for the webbing to move around.

The Fixed Loop Swivel Snap does not rotate on it axis. The swivel means that when you place the webbing through the loop the snap is able to swivel back, and forth. The fixed loop is the tongue on the snap that allows you to place anything behind the tongue, and it will stay fastened until you release it.

All of these snaps are made of heavy duty hardware. They will last for years as long as you take care of them. If you don’t take care of them they will rust as metal does. Even though these are solid holding snaps, they are not meant for containment; such as cam buckles, or ratchet buckles. These snaps are not meant to tighten things down. These snaps are made more for bag straps, camera straps, binocular straps, dog leashes, and many more.
