KARACHI: Birthday of Miss Fatima Jinnah also known as Mader e Millat was observed on July 31th.

Madar-e-Milat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah was born on July 31st 1893 in Karachi. Various social and political organisations would arrange cake-cutting ceremonies in the whole country to pay tributes to her hard work and efforts for the country and nation.
Taking part in elections at the age of 72 or 73 and actively leading the campaign by traveling almost everywhere in Pakistan by using every mean is a courageous act indeed. She was the one who challenged the first marital law administrator of Pakistan, Ayub Khan, in presidential elections.
