MH17: Observers unable to access crash site in eastern Ukraine

A pro-Russian rebel shouts ‘get back’ as independent investigators attempted to gain access to the MH17 crash site in eastern Ukraine.
The members of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), turned back to Donetsk after talks with the insurgents.
“Our goal today was to prove a route to do an assessment of roads in and out of, to do an assessment of the security situation, which is part of our mandate and part of what we have been doing here for the past three months,” explained Michael Bociurkiw, spokesman for the OSCE’s Special Mission to Ukraine
The Dutch and Australian governments whose nationals were aboard the aircraft complained that the site hasn’t been secured and some body parts are yet to be recovered.
“ I’d like to point out that Ukraine regrets that until now in the territory controlled by pro-Russian guerillas there is no access to the site of this awful tragedy for the international experts who investigate this catastrophe,” declared Volodymyr Hroysman, the acting prime minister at a press conference.
Teams of international experts have been repeatedly frustrated in their attempts to access the site since the crash which killed all 298 passengers nearly two weeks ago.
Despite a ceasefire, images released by the Ukrainian army reportedly show continued fighting in the vicinity.
