Ukraine: More bodies repatriated to Netherlands as MH17 inquiry progresses

More victims’ remains from the Malaysia Airlines plane downed in Ukraine have arrived back in the Netherlands.
With 193 Dutch citizens dead, the country is playing a lead role in identification and investigation efforts, helped by Australia, itself mourning 27 lost lives.
Separatist pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine have been accused of bringing down the aircraft with a missile just over a week ago.
Some 43 Malaysians on board also died in the disaster and, as Malaysia’s king and queen met bereaved families in Putrajaya to express their condolences, Australian police officers arrived in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv to assist in securing the crash site.
The separatists deny shooting down the plane and Russia says that it has not provided them with any surface-to-air missiles.
All 298 people on board died when the Boeing 777, en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumper, plunged from the skies into farmland.
Investigators in Britain are examining its black box flight recorders.
But it is far from sure that that will give a full answer to questions over what happened to Flight MH17 – and who was responsible.
