‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, based on the Marvel franchise, looks set to be this summer’s major blockbuster.

Chris Pratt, who has the leading role, is hopeful the action space adventure will be a big hit: “It feels pretty good. I mean, I’ve got my fingers crossed. I saw the movie and I really liked it. I’m really hoping everybody else likes it as much as I did. I think they will.”

The director James Gunn, said that Chris Pratt was a natural for the part: “He started auditioning, and, within 20 seconds, I turned to Sarah, the casting director, and I said, ‘That’s the guy!’.”

Bradley Cooper voiced the character Rocket Raccoon and revealed it had been more fun than he initially expected: “At first I thought it was going to be really tricky, because so much fun of working is improvisation. You know, especially with great actors as Chris Pratt, who is so good with improvisation. And I sort of felt a little bit gypped, because I wanted to be there with them. But you know what? It worked out!”

Glenn Close said she always wanted to make a blockbuster: “It’s the kind of movie I’ve always wanted to be in. Seriously. And I think, you know, people just might not necessarily think of me in a movie like this, so when they came to me for it, I was just so happy!”

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ will be on screens worldwide this summer.
