Mideast ceaefire evaporates, Clinton defends Israeli air strikes

The ceasefire is over --- Israel resumes its air strikes on Gaza Wednesday ----the truce brokered by Egypt a day earlier, now a distant memory.

Ashkelon, a previously hit town in southern Israel, came under attack.

Israeli foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman and his Norweigan counterpart were visiting the area when it happened.
