A pilot and a passenger are thankfully still alive after the plane they were traveling in crashed. The 1982 Beechcraft C24R blasted through the roof of a business in Titusville, Florida called American Paint & Body Collision Center.

The scary incident occurred at about noon on Thursday. Fortunately no one inside the business at the time of the wreck was hurt. However there were employees in neighboring businesses who heard the loud crash.

According to Jim McMillan, the pilot of the single-engine aircraft, he began experiencing engine trouble mid-air. He attempted to divert the plane to a nearby airport but things didn’t work out like he planned.

Not only did McMillan and his solo passenger survive the crash, they also avoided serious injuries. The men were treated at the scene and later taken to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.

The plane is a total loss and the collision center is badly damaged. There is a huge hole in the roof and debris is scatted all over the place.

The Federal Aviation Administration will launch an investigation into the incident.
