Obama, Rasmussen meet at White House

President Barack Obama met NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen at the White House on Tuesday (July 8).
The two are likely to discuss the crisis in Ukraine as well as NATO's post-2014 non-combat mission in Afghanistan, according to the White House press office.
"The Secretary General's visit underscores the vital importance the United States places on NATO as the cornerstone of our alliance with Europe," a news release said.
Their meeting comes ahead of a NATO summit in Wales this September.
