New video released by the Ukrainian military shows agents with guns raised, moving in on three separatists they say surrendered in a field near Slaviansk.

A white flag -- the international sign for surrender -- the agents begin disarming the men who are ordered to keep hands on their heads. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is under pressure to take a hard line against separatists after several soldiers were killed over the weekend. He called the latest military offensive an answer to "terrorists, militants and marauders."

Ukrainian security forces raid a cafe in Donetsk --- capturing a top pro-Russian rebel.

Volodymyr Kolosnyuk, the self-proclaimed separatist mayor of the town of Horlivka is alleged to have plotted attacks on the military. Authorities say he was at the cafe to purchase 17,000 worth of weapons. They've taken him to capital, Kiev.
