Ballesteros biopic "Seve" premiere in London

He was one of a kind - a golfer that could light up tournaments not just with his play, but with his personality as well.

Now, three years after the death of Seve Ballesteros, a movie chronicling his life has been released.

"Seve" looks at the life of the young golfer, as a prodigious son of a Santander shepherd.

John Paul Davidson is the film's director.

"I think as much as anything I think it's a, the genius of his golf, that he would take risks and do things that no other golfer would dream of doing. But also it's about family, and if you have a sort of loving and nurturing family you can achieve anything."

Renowned for his fist-pumping energy and magical shot-making, Ballesteros died in 2011 at the age of 54 after a long battle with brain cancer.

He managed to win 87 international tournaments, 50 European titles and five Majors, including two Masters titles.
