Shots Fired During Anti-World Cup Protest

Anti-World Cup protests in Sao Paulo turned violent on June 23, forcing the prominent Avenida Paulista street to close as clashes broke out between protesters and police. According to reports, gunshots were fired as a warning to those opposing arrest. Approximately 200 people participated in the march.The footage shows a scuffle with police before the arrest of 29-year-old Rafael Marques Lusvarghi. Gunshots are also heard.
