How to Make a Vieux Carre Cocktail
The Vieux Carre was first created in 1938 by Walter Bergeron, the head bartender at the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans.

Recipe:
3/4 oz brandy
3/4 oz rye whiskey
3/4 oz sweet vermouth
1/4 oz Benedictine
dash Peychaud's Bitters
dash Angostura Bitters
Instructions:
Stir with ice.
Strain into an old fashioned glass.
