McDonalds Japan Keeps Getting Weirder! - Food Feeder

Since we follow McDonalds Japan's every move, we've discovered that both churros and dubious avocado-centered burgers are hitting the Japanese fast food market. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/Z7lbS

Noah Galuten has hurt himself in an unfortunate way. Adding insult to injury, Michael Truly has stolen this opportunity from him to take a dump on McDonalds, weird Japanese food trends, and fast food in general. Poor Noah!

McDonalds is using a loose definition of "Churros" even for them. The actual product resembles something like a buttermilk bar donut, and can be ordered with no cinnamon, which is a crime against the very nature of Churros. But you can find out more about that here: http://goo.gl/cmi6yU

There's also a new line of avocado topped burgers. Your standard beef and chicken burgers, and then something presented as a "shrimp burger" which... is that a thing in Japan? Or just a thing in the minds of McDonalds executives?

In other Japanese fast food news, Starbucks Japan is unveiling a brand new Frappucino that's flavored like - as far as we can tell - burnt cookies: http://goo.gl/aRvCKa

Which of these odd fast food items sounds the most appealing to you? The least appealing? Have you had the opportunity to sample one or more of these products first hand? What did you think - does the rest of the world need oversized maple churros and avocado shrimp burgers? Any other fast food trends you've heard about?
