Dunya News - Taliban, Imran and Tahirul Qadri are 'strategic partners': Info Minister

Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed today (Wednesday) remarked that Tehreek-e-Taliban, PTI chief Imran Khan and PAT chairman Tahirul Qadri are ‘strategic partners,’ Dunya News reported.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Pervaiz Rasheed said that Taliban are attacking defence institutions, Imran Khan is targeting democratic institutions and Tahirul Qadri is attacking the constitution.
He said talks will be held with those who are willing to talk to the government and people holding guns will be responded in the same manner.
The minister said it is government’s responsibility to ensure security of public property, airports, defence and educational institutions.
Government will use full force to quell militancy. Ground and air operations would be conducted to avert the threats, he said.
Lashing out at leadership of the opposition party, Pervaiz Rasheed said there is strategic partnership between Imran Khan and Taliban. Government is ready to face Taliban, Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri.
He said Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAF) chief Tahirul Qadri is coming to Pakistan to target its constitution.
