Thailand's ousted Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra arrives for talks with the military, one day after it took power in a coup.
Yingluck, who was removed by a court for abuse of power, is at the centre of a political struggle between the royal establishment and her populist government.
She is one of more than 100 political figures summoned by the military.
These rival political factions had been holding talks for two days but failed to break the deadlock.
The army said it staged the coup to restore order after months of political turmoil.
Now the military's detained several key figures of both pro and anti government protest groups. It's also banned 155 people, including some politicians, from leaving the country.
But any hope, these fresh meetings have of resolving the crisis, they're sure to be complicated by the announcement that this Thai army chief has taken over the powers of prime minister.
