Heropanti is an action romantic movie marking the Bollywood debut of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon in lead roles alongside Sandeepa Dhar in a pivotal role. It will also be the debut movie for 21 of the actors.
Heropanti is the story of two young conflicting protagonists, their battles with society and their coming of age love story.
Sixty six years since India became free, but are we still free to love, to choose our own life really? Rising from present India in the conflicting era of shining modernity and deep-rooted archaic traditions, in the era of big city versus small towns, here comes a love story sealed with an impossible fate. It's the story of the bold Bablu, played by Tiger Shroff, and the bratty Dimpy, played by Kriti Sanon.
Will Bablu and Dimpy's love blossom under the terror of a brutal clan and the violent landscape it is set against?
Heropanti is the story of today's youth, and the coming of age of its conflicting protagonists.
The film is be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Sabbir Khan. It is slated to release in theatres on May 23, 2014.
