Dunya News-LHC summons PM Nawaz, Asif Zardari, other politicians over assets abroad

ustice Khalid Mehmood Khan of Lahore High Court has summoned 26 politicians over plea filed by Barrister Iqbal Jafary regarding politicians assets abroad.
It was prayed in the plea that the prominent politicians including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, ex-president Asif Ali Zardari and others have assets abroad while the country is reeling under untold burden of debt.
The court was told that Nawaz Sharif, Kulsoom Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz did not receive court notices while ex-prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has received it.
The court ordered that notices against the respondents would be published in national newspapers if they fail to appear before the court.
The hearing was adjourned till June 16.
