Summer Movie Preview 2014: The Family-Friendly Movies

Kids love superheroes, it's true. But not all of this summer's superhero flicks are appropriate for the young ones in the family. Even some of the Disney movies--here's looking at you Maleficent--might be a little too scary for the little ones. And sure, what your kid sees is up to you to decide, but we thought we would include a Summer Preview list featuring all of the family-friendly movies that'll open in theaters in the next few months. Many of them are animated sequels like How To Train Your Dragon 2 and Planes: Fire & Rescue. But we also threw in some choices for the older, though still young kids who can't get enough of YA novels like The Fault In Our Stars and The Giver. Check it out!Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return
