i listened to the 'xscape' album... my thoughts (part one)

i'm actually not totally opposed to remixes of michael's songs (even though i know michael was not into them). however, i think the way the executors (and clearly, the folks at epic/sony) are going about it is not only disrespectful to michael's artistic legacy, but the fan base as well. folks like frankie knuckles (r.i.p.) remixed michael's work, yet kept the light and character michael was so known for. it is possible to do.

even if michael were physically here and signed off on these songs i wouldn't buy the thing; the remixes are just awful.
