Dramatic Rescue: Blood gang members kidnapped prosecutor's father in Georgia, FBI frees him

A very complex kidnapping plot concocted by a hardened criminal serving a life sentence in North Carolina came to an end when the kidnapper's text messages were used to pinpoint their location.
On April 5th a woman knocked on Arthur Janssen's door, but when he opened it, he was ambushed. The kidnappers drove over 600 miles from Wake County North Carolina, to Atlanta, Georgia.
The group sent threats to Janssen's wife using different phones, however they all had area codes from the Atlanta Metropolitan area, allowing federal agents the break they needed to intercept their communications and take them down.
