A woman in Chicago landed in handcuffs after a drunken trip to the ATM went wrong. 26-year-old Maria Segura reportedly got behind the wheel of her 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier at a little before 4 in the morning.

Apparently she was looking for an ATM, but ended up making a wrong turn onto the Burlington Northern railroad tracks.

Fortunately a police officer had seen the whole thing and alerted a 911 dispatcher of what was going on. He told the operator to halt the trains on the line.

The officer was able to catch up and stop Segura to speak with her. She told the cop she was looking for an ATM and made a wrong turn somewhere along the route.

However she failed a field sobriety test and was taken to the police station where it was revealed that her blood alcohol content was about 2.5 times the legal limit.

Cops also learned she was driving on a suspended license. She was arrested and charged with ‘two counts of DUI, driving with a suspended license, driving in the wrong lane and having no insurance.’
