The tension is building as South Africa is less than a week away from voting in the 2014 Elections. Justice and Debora can barely contain their excitement - although Justice is projecting his enthusiasm for Game of Thrones, which is slaying us all with it’s brutal twists in its 6th Season of bloodshed, which is what the SABC seems to be insinuated by every election ad it bans from TV. At least Archibishop Desmond Tutu seems to think so, who has come out saying that he’d rather vote for any other party than than ANC! For perspective, Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe, corrupt tyrant almost more bizarrely cruel than any medieval fantasy series, has voiced his public support of the ANC.
While the DA desperately tries to flaunt its big-boy boots from the little kid’s table at the Elections, reinstated Secretary General of COSATU Zwelinzima Vavi predicts the political forecast in the coming week, the ANC have their hand so far up his backside that he might as well have fingers for teeth - unless his underage mistress is a fan of thongs, he’s not the one pulling the strings anymore.
Crossing over to America, we marvel at the completely miscalculated racism of Donald Sterling, the owner of the National Basketball Association's Los Angeles Clippers, who “doesn't want black people to come to his games”, which alienates 75% of the players. The Clintons are expecting their first grandchild - well, Hillary is, anyway - and George Clooney is expecting his first lay after announcing his engagement to lawyer Amal Alamuddin!
