This is the scene seconds before a bomb explodes in Iraq.

It happened at a Shi'ite political rally in Baghdad ahead of elections April 30th.

Officials say at least 28 people are dead, more than 40 are wounded, though these numbers are expected to change.

Three bombs in total went off as people left a rally for the militant group Asaib Ahl Haq.

A roadside bomb blew up near the main gate, followed by a suicide car bomb a few minutes later.

A Twitter account associated with the Al Qaeda offshoot, called the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, rejoiced at the attack but did not claim responsibility for it.
