Underwater search for Malaysian plane could end within a week

A Chinese plane returns to Australia's Perth airport after another day of searching.

It was looking for any sign of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight370 which disappeared on March 8 with 239 people on board.

A deep-sea drone is scouring a tight circle of the Indian Ocean floor, the size of a city, for what may be the plane's black box.

Now, after two long months, search officials, including Malaysia's Defense Minister, say the current underwater hunt for the missing plane could be complete within a week.

"Narrowing of the search from today and tomorrow is at a very critical juncture, so I appeal to everybody around the world to pray and pray hard that we find something to work over the next couple of days.

In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysians hope the black box will be found but they're not optimistic it will be any time soon.
