'X-Men' director Singer accused of drugging and raping teenager.

Hollywood producer and director Bryan Singer has been accused of drugging and raping a teenage boy, according to a lawsuit filed at a U.S. court on Wednesday (April 16).
The legal action comes weeks before the release of Singer's upcoming X-Men movie "Days of Future Past".
The allegations are made by Michael Egan, who according to reports was 17 at the time. The now 31-year-old is seeking unspecified damages and a jury trial after wide-ranging abuses, which include rape and the use of alcohol and drugs on a minor.
The abuse allegedly took place at house parties in California and Hawaii in the late 1990s.
According to the documents filed in Hawaii, the director, known for his work on "The Usual Suspects" and various comicbook blockbusters, promised Egan roles in an X-Men movie and other projects in return.
Singer's legal team have meanwhile responded to the allegations, calling them "absurd and defamatory."
