Breast Lift Surgeries On The Rise, But Women Still Prefer Implants

The American Society of Plastic Surgery has revealed the statistics of cosmetic surgery for 2013. Breast lift surgeries are growing twice the rate of implant surgeries. It shows a desire for women to use their own tissue to change the shape of their breasts as opposed to changing the size. The surgery uses the women’s own tissue to create a different shape and lift. Doctors can do this by removing excess skin and tightening the tissue to create a new shape. The main reasons women seek a lift are due to having kids, breast-feeding, age and weight loss
