According to prosecutors in Washington County, Jessica Dutro subjected her 4-year-old son to horrific, violent beatings because she thought he was exhibiting early signs of homosexuality.

On August 14th, 2012, the child, Zachary Dutro-Boggess was transported to the hospital by emergency crews. Doctors soon learned he was suffering from abdominal trauma so severe that it caused his bowels to tear.
Sadly, Zachary was not able to recover and he was taken off life support two days after his arrival at the medical facility. When an investigation into the death began, cops learned that Jessica Dutro and her boyfriend, Brian Canady were allegedly involved in previous incidents of abuse.
Canady recently pleaded guilty to ‘first-degree manslaughter and second-degree assault’. Dutro’s trial is now underway and she’s facing charges of ‘murder, murder by abuse and second-degree assault’.
Authorities said Dutro abused all three of her kids, but Zachary was her main target. Prosecutors allege she sent a message to her boyfriend noting Zachary was going to be gay because he talked and walked like a homosexual.
