Chinese relatives of passengers on missing plane vent their fury

Prayers for the people on board the Malaysia airlines jet, missing for 18 days.

Officials in Kuala Lumpur are now sure the jet crashed in the southern Indian Ocean, thousands of kilometres off course.

These Filipinos are celebrating the final peace agreement between the government and the Muslim rebel group, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.

But they also had time to spare a thought for the passengers on flight MH370. Most of them were Chinese.

(SOUNDBITE) (Filipino) BANGSAMORO NATIONAL MOVEMENT FOR PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT SPOKESPERSON AGAKHAN SHARIEF SAYING:

"We pray and we are one with Prime Minister Razak. We pray to Allah for the victims and their families. We sympathise with them."

The reasons for the loss of the Beijing bound flight remain a mystery.

The aircraft vanished about one hour after taking off from the Malaysian capital.
