The head of the Russian Black sea fleet visited a Ukrainian navy base in Crimea Wednesday.

Vice Admiral Alexander Vitko entered a building in the Ukrainian Black Sea fleet camp cheered by applauding crowds as pro-Russian troops and supporters outside chanted 'Russia.'

Pro Russian groups then entered the building in the camp and some succeeded in taking a Ukrainian coat of arms off the wall.
