Sci-fi movie starring former Bond villain hits screens

'The Machine' directed by Caradog Jones is a new sci-fi thriller based around the complicated science behind artificial intelligence.

SOUNDBITE director Caradog Jones, saying (English):

"I was reading books on futurism. I was reading books on how AI was being developed. And the more I read the more I thought that actually it was time to do a movie that tackled these subjects in as realistic a way as I could."

Caradog's breakthrough with his vision of A.I. was a chance meeting between his producer and a scientist from the UK's Ministry of Defense
