$10M Lottery Winner Accused of Sexually Assaulting Child

A lottery winner in Uxbridge, Massachusetts has been accused of using his money to fund inappropriate acts with an underage boy.
A lottery winner in Uxbridge, Massachusetts has been accused of using his money to fund inappropriate acts with an underage boy. 62-year-old Daniel T. Snay is now is jail after allegedly sexually abusing a boy and showing the child pornography.
According to police, the crimes involving the victim started when the boy was 8 up until he was 14 years of age. In 2008, Snay won the state lottery prize and used that cash to gain favor with people.
In a news release, local law enforcement elaborated noting ‘Mr. Snay was the recipient of a $10 million dollar lottery award and that windfall aided the commission of the crimes.’ The Uxbridge police department is currently working with officials from the state of Connecticut and Rhode Island because some of the alleged crimes took place within those jurisdictions.
Snay is now being held without bail. He is currently listed as a Level 3 sex offender in Massachusetts. In the 1970s and 80s, Snay was convicted 6 times for ‘indecent assault and battery’.
In reference to the most recent case, Snay is facing charges of ‘dissemination of pornography to a minor’, ‘reckless endangerment of a child’, ‘indecent assault and battery on a child’ and ‘enticement of a child’.
