Thomas S. Murphy Youth of the Year Judging event

At the Thomas S. Murphy Boys & Girls located in the heart of the Flatbush community of Brooklyn, NY, five teens embarked on a journey of self discovery. Each teen had to depict the ways that they have been LEADERS in their home, school and community all the while keeping high moral standards in life and in service to their Boys & Girls club.
Each member overcame major obstacles in their lives, each member a mentor and a friend, each member competing for the coveted title of YOUTH OF THE YEAR. and with it come notoriety prestige and scholarship money for college. Congratulations to these five astonishing young men shinning in the graduating halls of the "School of Hard knocks"
