Massive controversy has erupted over extension of parole to actor Sanjay Dutt, convicted in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. The actor has to complete a five year prison term but for the past 10 months the actor has been given extension after extension on his parole. The BJP has hit out at the Maharashtra government for the preferential treatment meted out to him.
