Victims of bus blast in Sinai were tourists, official says

Officials investigating a deadly blast near Egypt's border with Israel say the victims were tourists from South Korea.
(SOUNDBITE) (Hebrew) ITZIK HAIM, TABA TERMINAL MANAGER, SAYING:
"There are several conjectures, but I don't want to get into it. I'm sure it will be investigated and eventually we will know exactly how it happened. Anyway, it was a group of 32 Koreans on their way to Israel after visiting the Pyramids and Sinai. They had planned to come to Israel for several days and leave for Europe or through the bridges to Jordan."
The bus explosion killed at least two South Koreans and their Egyptian driver near the Taba crossing.
The attack is the first on tourists since an army takeover in July spurred an Islamist insurgency.
The blast wounded 24 people, who were taken to a hospital in Sharm el-Sheikh.
South Korea's foreign ministry held an emergency meeting to discuss the attack.
