BMW i8 has garnered large sum of hype before making its debut in India.
Standing affirm to its aspirations, the German carmaker unveiled i8 on Indian shores at Auto Expo with a large fanfare, invited the brand ambassador Sachin Tendulkar for the unveiling ceremony.
BMW i8 is a hybrid supercar donning some of the most attractive car designs in the world. i8's engine bay is powered by two engines: a one aspirated by petrol and the other one by battery, delivering the traction to all of the wheels with regards to their placements. Driving dynamics, scissor doors, laser headlamps and the latest technology - expected from a supercar, complements it for the three hundred sixty two horses under the hoods.
On an informative note, the battery designed for this hybrid supercar pumps up to a max speed of one twenty kilometers per hour "solely", whereas the conjunction of both the powertrains makes it to a max of two fifty kilometers per hour with a zip of zero to hundred in just four point four seconds.
In fact, BMW i8 is not yet launched in India. We are abreacted, the Germans may roll it out sometime in the late twenty fourteen for not lesser than a price tag of one point seventy five crores Rupees.
