Police release footage of Justin Bieber being processed in jail - prison CCTV

Footage has emerged of pop star Justin Bieber pacing in a jail processing room before taking his shoes and socks off to be searched by a prison guard.

Newly-obtained surveillance video from the Miami Beach Police Department shows Justin Bieber being processed in jail following his January 23rd DUI arrest.

With arms crossed, Bieber is seen wearing brightly coloured shoes while pacing at a counter in a room with jail cells attached.
After dialogue with a prison guard, he removes his footwear, places his hands on the bench, while the guard appears to lift his sweatshirt up.

Bieber is then seen to start removing the top himself.

In another case against Bieber, Los Angeles County sheriff's investigators have presented evidence to prosecutors for a possible felony vandalism charge.

The pop star has been under investigation since eggs were thrown at his neighbour's home last month, resulting in thousands of dollars in damage.

Detectives searched Bieber's home looking for surveillance footage or other evidence on 14 January.

The district attorney's office said on Thursday that it had received the case.
If prosecutors decide to move forward with it, it could result in Bieber's most serious criminal charges yet.

The 19-year-old has been charged with misdemeanour offences in Miami and Toronto in recent weeks.

But prosecutors in California have rejected three previous cases against Bieber that accused him of reckless driving, attacking a paparazzo and spitting on a neighbour.
