It took emergency services more than two hours to put out a fire at this hotel in Saudi Arabia.

The state news agency says 15 people died and around 130 were injured when the blaze swept through the building in the holy city of Medina.

Television stations in Egypt reported that all the dead were Egyptians.

It's believed the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit.

Around 700 Muslim travellers were staying here at this hotel to perform a pilgrimage in Medina.
