Sarajevo hoses down following night riots
- 10 years ago
Bosnian capital Sarajevo is hosing down following a third night of rioting.
Protesters, furious with the lack of jobs, set fire to government buildings.
It's the worst case of civil unrest in the country since a 1992-95 war.
(SOUNDBITE) (Bosnian) SEMIR SINANOVIC, UNEMPLOYED RESIDENT OF SARAJEVO, SAYING:
"The situation is not good at all and I hope that our politicians will have enough decency to resign, because if they continue to fight against people they will lose everything; they will lose."
One in four are jobless in this former Yugoslav republic -- still no sign if the public unrest will do much to change the jobs crisis.
