Ukrainian protesters celebrate orthodox Christmas

Still camped out in Kiev's Independence Square, Ukrainian anti-government protesters celebrate Orthodox Christmas... Braving the cold for a Christmas mass lit by candles and stars.

They've been camped out since late November, after President Viktor Yanukovich refused to sign an association agreement with the European Union, instead favoring closer ties with Russia.

This protester is not leaving any time soon:

(SOUNDBITE) (Ukrainian) UKRAINIAN PROTESTER, NATALIA OSCHIUK, SAYING:

"Until we achieve victory we will be here. We will not go away. No matter how difficult and hard, we're not leaving."

Demonstrating their views on a holy day.
