Thanks to a dog in Monroe, Washington, the occupants of a home are safe and sound after a blaze broke out because of their Christmas décor. The pooch was responsible for alerting the residents, who were sleeping at the time, of the flames spreading throughout the house.

The dog’s frantic efforts woke one of the dwellers who in turn alerted the other occupant. Everyone got out safely, including the pets.
