Rat Stuck Going Down The Up Escalator Is A Metaphor Of Life

Life is one big rat race. Sometimes, it feels like we’re all walking down an ascending escalator. Just as the weekend finally gets here, it seems it’s Monday already and the process starts all over.

Jonathan Beilin captured a perfect metaphor for life at the Civic Center in San Francisco. He saw a rat stuck on a ascending escalator, attempting to get off at the bottom only to be taken back a few steps.

Every time it finally made it to the edge, the next step would take it back again.
