Shahid plays a mentally retarded kind of guy in this film. He's not actually mentally retarded, but his half brother (Munnawar Saeed) and his step mother beat him up constantly after his mother's death, which makes him immature, timid with no self-confidence. Shabnam is strong, brave and supportive, so she makes a man out of him after marrying him. He sings this song after being self-confident and mature. I hate the mole on the tip of Shabna's nose. So gross, but she never got it removed. Probably thought of it as a good-luck omen. Shahid was fat but with dynamic personality. Girls were crazy after him, also gays ;) Our college waiter who was gay used to say that he wants Shahid actor to do him .. haha
