Woman jumps off building, baby survives

A 10-month-old baby miraculously survives after her mother jumped from an 8-storey window in Harlem while holding the child in her arms.

The child was rushed to the hospital by police who were nearby, while his mother, 44-year-old Cindy Bacharach, died. Witnesses said Bacharach was heard arguing with her husband earlier in the day, and that her husband had left the apartment before she jumped.
