Dozens killed in South Africa bus crash

Twenty-nine people were killed, including the driver, when a bus collided with a truck in eastern Mpumalanga province on Monday night.

Reports said that 26 people were killed at the scene (Moloto Road near Kwaggafontein) and 11 others were critically injured. Three died on arrival at KwaMhlanga hospital.

Two trucks collided before slamming into the bus which was travelling in the opposite direction en route from Pretoria to Marble Hall.

Putco Bus spokesman Romeo More said that they suspected poor visibility caused the accident.

South African President Jacob Zuma has expressed shocked at the accident saying the fact that this particular road has gained notoriety means there's something wrong.
