Edwina is an Australian singer-songwriter who plays a vintage-sounding acoustic folk music, whose melodies and lyrical imagery will take you on a tour from the streets of Berlin, where this project began, to the shores of her Australian homeland. Her first EP was recorded in summer 2012 (produced by Deko).
Deko is an Italian songwriter, musician and producer, well known in Italy for projects such as "Alias" and "Breakfast". He recorded and produced his first solo album in 2012. Entitled "The Last Goodbye", his album is a bridge between the Italian "Morricone" folk/western style and traditional US folk.
Edwina and Deko have now come together to pursue their project "E.D." (Edwina Dunn - Enrico Decolle: Edwina & Deko) which will culminate in the release of their joint album, "Berlin Seasons", in Spring 2013. Nostalgically seeking the sound of an earlier musical era, Edwina and Deko take things back to basics: minimum production; maximum live recording, bringing out the best in their pure, acoustic sound and their warm voices, which intertwine to create the tight harmonies typical of the 60s.
