If you’ve been wanting to see space up close, but can only carve 75 thousand dollars out of your budget to do so, you’re in luck.

World View Travel has announced that beginning in 2016, they’ll be taking people up high in a huge hot air balloon, giving them a space-like experience.

Compared to Virgin Galactic’s 250 thousand dollar price tag, that’s quite a deal.

Or course, there’s no zero gravity event on the balloon ride, nor will it be travelling all the way to the edge of the Earth’s atmosphere.

Nonetheless, what the lower-priced excursion does promise is one fantastic view.

The balloon will carry a passenger gondola 19 miles upwards, allowing for a peek at what Earth looks like next to a sky full of stars.

Plans for the enclosed cabin are that it hold up to 6 passengers and be outfitted similar to a private jet, complete with a fully loaded bar.

The pace of the journey is leisurely, taking about an hour and a half to reach its altitude destination. Once it gets there, the gondola will float around for a couple hours, giving passengers the opportunity to relax and check out Earth.
