Zoë Hazel is a singer songwriter born in Scotland but was brought up in Catalunya (north of Spain) from when she was three. After finishing her schooling in 2010 she bought a guitar. She has always observed people and is fascinated by what they do to get by in this life. She used to sit on the bus doodling and inventing stories about strangers. In September 2011 she moved to England and settled in Brighton for 2 years playing lots of different venues. Her music has been described as melancholic, dark and quirky with soft, but powerful vocals. She uses Catalan, Spanish and English in her songs which reflect every day situations, love and lost love. Zoë moved to London in August 2013 to work on her music and play to bigger audiences.
