Russia arrests dozens at gay rights protest

Russian police have arrested 67 people after fighting broke out during a gay rights protest in St Petersburg.

The disturbances began after a group of around 15 gay rights activists were taunted by anti-gay demonstrators who occupied the site of a planned demo.

Russia has recently adopted a law banning what it calls homosexual "propaganda".
