Three arrested in Ohio for enslaving disabled woman and her child

Three people were arrested on Tuesday in Ohio for holding a disabled mother and her daughter in slave-like conditions for nearly two years. According to reports, Jordie L. Callahan, 26, Jessica L. Hunt, 31, and Daniel J. Brown, 33, allegedly invited the woman and her daughter to live with them in May 2011. They then held them there as virtual slaves, forcing the woman to clean, do shopping, and take care of their pets, providing them with drugs while taking her government benefits.
