We the Ghosts formed mid 2011 after Lead singer John Cesar approached Lead Guitarist Alex Tomlins in a Vegetarian Cafe about starting a "Country influenced Rock band".
Alex's younger brothers (Twins) Nick and Jake ,who at the time were still in school were soon roped in to play bass drums and We the Ghosts was born.

In their first few rehearsals, We the Ghosts recorded a whole Ep in their shed, and while most of the band had influenza this eventually became their first release "Demo EP".

The following 18 months became a blur of activity and excitement, having played on the same lineup or supported such artists as Kenny Rogers, Jimmy Barnes, Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson,The McClymonts, Adam Harvey, Shane Howard (Goanna), Lee Kernaghan, John Williamson, Beccy Cole, Corb Lund, The Sunny Cowgirls, McAlister Kemp, Jasmine Rae, Jetty Road, O'Shea, Travis Collins and touring with Icehouse to name a few, it became obvious to the band that playing music is what they want to do, and with such a loyal fan base why wouldn't they do it?

One flight to Nashville TN at the end of 2012 and 2 weeks spent on the Gold Coast recording their new EP prior to leaving, We the Ghosts are hoping to "one-up" 2012, and with no cold symptoms in sight and a landcruiser full of inspiration they are already half way there.
